Before heading off to Hawkes Bay we had a morning full of activities. We got the kids out of school Monday through Thursday for our busy week of fun. The kids had a birthday party to attend for their good little friend, Johnny, at Te Papa. Ben had to sort his embassy papers for his big trip to Taiwan. So we all left for downtown Wellington Monday morning to our separate activities. We had a blast at Johnny's party and enjoyed seeing our best buds. Brian went with Ben and after stopping by the hospital and getting papers filed at the embassy, they met us at the museum. We had enough time to have a coffee and enjoy ourselves. Calvin even managed to get wet before we began our road trip!
The party started with a fun pirate story and then an open play on the other side of the curtain. A really neat place with a great tree house and all.

My best buds here in NZ! Jude and Sinead...they've been such wonderful friends to me and our family. Jude lived in Arizona for 5 years and is now back home in NZ, Sinead is from Ireland and her mom's maiden name is McIntyre! They are just so sweet and I will miss them dearly.
