Dear Mary Katherine,
Mommy and daddy can't believe you are 4 years old today! You are such a big girl with lots of energy and excitement. Over the last year, you have exploded in your vocabulary. It has amazed me to watch you talk more and more with a wide variety of words. It's so funny to hear you and Calvin talk back and forth while you play. You are such a great communicator!
You've always been a little daredevil (remember fracturing your elbow at 14 months old?!) and are quite the little gymnast. You love to play dress-ups and anything Calvin is playing. You are a caring big sister to Caroline and love your big brother to death. You and Calvin are 2 peas in a pod, thick as thieves you are! Your beauty is striking and your curls reflect your boundless energy. :) Your memory always impresses me - remembering the littlest details. You didn't miss a beat when we moved to NZ and started a new life here but you do remember Virginia. You talk alot about going back to Virginia.
You've made new friends at kindy and have had several playdates. You have really adjusted well to the kiwi lifestyle, enjoying going barefooted often and wearing pretty flowing dresses! Often, you get a little attitude and we are working on fixing that. :) You definitely speak your mind and are very inquisitive. Today, you introduced everyone (me, Calvin, and Caroline) to a new friend. It was so cute. :)
MaeMae, you are full of life and are the light of our lives. Thank you for being you! We love you so much.
