Christmas "Do"

On Monday, 12 December we had our friends over for a Christmas "do". A Christmas party, as we would say in the States. We had about 10 adults and 20+ kids present for the festivities. I had a cupcake decorating station with cupcakes baked in ice cream cones and also a craft table to make bookmarks, paper fans and such. Everyone brought a plate to share so the food wasn't so overwhelming for me to undertake. It was heaps of fun!

Delicious holiday treats - sausage rolls, anzac brownies, truffles, strawberries, nachos and more! Of course, coffee for all!

Making treats for Rudolph. My friend, Sinead, brought oats and plastic baggies to make Reindeer Treats. The kids put a Christmas tag on their baggies and will leave the reindeer treat out with their cookies and milk for Santa.
It rained all morning so we were stuck inside. However, we did have a few little ones sneak out into the puddles! Notice Caroline's wet jeggings. :) The rain didn't spoil our day even if we couldn't go out and play in the garden.
