To Market, to market

The Harbourside Market is a beautiful site with heaps of fresh veg and fruits as well as locally made items such as, peanut butter, bread, sausages, lamb and more. It was so fun to take mom and dad down to shop and check out the harbour. It was a beautiful and sunny day and we ended with lunch from the vendors...pizza (new york style:), flautas, hamburgers and dumplings. Yum-o!

Walking down to the boat to buy fresh fish.

Holy moly the grouper! And poor little monkfish, his morning tea.

They had all sorts of fresh fish and even squid, which mom was dying to buy but we steered her away in fear of filling the house with fishy aromas for the week.

Squid anyone?

They even fillet your fish right there and give you any parts you wish to take home. In our case, mom wanted the fish heads to make fish soup for dinner.
