Getting mail from the States is such a fun treat and last week we were extra lucky! We received some packages from Mimi and Papaw and the Riggs family last week!
Several BIG boxes of Ben's personal effects, books, laptop, etc...and of course, we all got some awesome treats from Mimi. The kids were so excited!! In the boxes were a new Barbie for MaeMae, truck and mini legos for Calvin and Wonder Pets legos for Caroline. And Glinda even put in some good ol' People, Southern Living and Parenting mags in for me along with an awesome new cookbook! Oh, the packages of cookie mix didn't last long...we are down to one bag. :) I had to bake some chocolate chip cookies for MaeMae the very same day we received the boxes. Thank you so much for all the wonderful treats!!!! We so appreciate the awesome goodies and appreciate your support and love!
The second package was one for the kids. It was from our cousins in Cincinnati, Melody, Eric and baby Cate (well, she's no longer a baby but the kids still remember her as baby Cate). New coloring books, crayons and a book were all great surprises and much appreciated. Any little thing from home is comforting and we so appreciate the time, effort and love that goes into these goodies. And, we can't wait to meet Baby Brennan!! Thank you again!
