Calvin had his first T-Ball game and did a great job. It's a laid back event, with no practices and he's the oldest in his group. He enjoyed it after he warmed up. :) After each game, Coach Myers awarded a Game Ball. Calvin got it after the first game for getting hit with a ball then continuing to play. It was very nice of him to recognize him and he was pretty proud.
Proud member of the Gamecocks!
One of the bribes, I mean bonuses, of T-ball games is getting a snow-cone from the concession stand. Many a dollar were spent on snow-cones and luckily Calvin got a free one after each of his games.
Proud GP! He was able to come to just about every game. It's so nice being close to home!
Chick-fil-a with the Holman boys. In March, Mr. Bill Turberville passed away suddenly. It was so sad and tragic for the family. He was such a great man and I have many memories of him growing up with Anne Wimberly. Thankfully I was able to spend some time with her boys to get them out of the house while they had visitors, etc... I was glad to be there but wish it had been for different reasons. What a wonderful person he was.
Sweet sisters!
When you leave a 2-year old alone for a few minutes, she fills up every cup in the bathroom with water! Caroline's favorite thing to do lately has been washing her hands with soap and also using "just one more squirt" of hand sanitizer. Don't know why she's started this but you can't leave sister alone with the sanitizer or soap for a minute! :)
A trip to have some hot doughnuts at my favorite place!
Another sad passing was Ashley and Julie's grandmother. We had 2 funerals within one week of each other. I was happy to be able to help with the children for this sad occasion as well.
