Our dear friends, John and Anna Hicks and their awesome children, Asher, Hampton & Celia hosted us at their beautiful mountain home this past weekend. We had a great weekend full of laughs, playing, food and fun. Ben, John and Anna went to medical school together. The boys were in the same year and Anna a year behind. We were so blessed to have matched at the University of Virginia at the same time, John in Orthopedic Surgery and Ben in Plastic Surgery. That was a fantastic year and we were so sad when they moved away to NC. But now, after being so far apart from each other for 2 years, we are close again and will enjoy many good weekends and good times together in the future! The kids have loved being together again. Asher, Calvin and MaeMae had a blast in VA together and now, 3 kids later, we share a table of 10 instead of a table of 7!

Group pic after our great hike in Dupont Forest to Triple Falls and a pizza lunch. So glad we are sooo close and can visit each other often! (We got a few pics of the falls on the Iphone but my camera battery died as soon as we had gotten too far from the car to get a new one! Ugh!)
Thank you for an awesome, fun-filled, loud, kiddy-friendly weekend. It was a blast and we cherish our friendship! You guys are awesome!
